Module 2 — Foundational Principles
The conceptual engine of the method: pairs, pH duality, pathogens, resonance and homeostasis.
- The biomagnetic pair as two poles of opposite charge / pH
- The pH-duality theory and how magnets are said to act
- The four classes of pathogens and the idea of pathogenic “symbiosis”
- Resonance, the bioenergetic dimension and emotional pairs
- Homeostasis as the goal of every session
2.1 The biomagnetic pair
The central object of the method is the biomagnetic pair: two points on the body said to be energetically linked and to carry opposite charge or pH. When a disturbance is present, one point becomes a positive pole and a corresponding, often distant, point becomes a negative pole. The two are described as being in “vibrational and energetic resonance” — a disturbance at one is mirrored at the other.
- The positive pole is characterised as an acidic region (an accumulation of hydrogen ions, H⁺) associated in the theory with viruses — the site where pathogens are said to gather.
- The negative pole is characterised as an alkaline region associated with free radicals and, in the theory, with bacteria.
Practitioners hold that common diseases are produced by a single pair, while complex diseases result from an association of several pairs acting together. Treatment therefore always works a pair as a unit — both poles at once (Module 6).
2.2 The pH-duality theory
The theoretical engine is a duality of pH. The modality proposes that many illnesses are associated with paired regions of abnormal acidity and abnormal alkalinity, and that pathogenic microorganisms survive only within a favourable pH range — viruses in acidic tissue, bacteria in alkaline tissue. When magnets are placed on the positive and negative poles, they are said to nudge both regions toward a neutral pH at once. In the model, this neutralisation removes the environment pathogens need: viruses are said to lose the ability to transfer genetic information, bacteria lose their alkaline medium, and the pair “collapses” back toward a normal energetic state. The magnet is described as a catalyst that resets the terrain, not an agent that directly kills anything.
Study point. Notice that the whole logic rests on the magnet shifting local tissue pH. This is exactly the premise mainstream physiology disputes (the body buffers pH tightly, and these magnets are comparable to strong household magnets). Learn the model as taught, and hold the evidence caveat alongside it.
2.3 Four classes of pathogens and “symbiosis”
Medical Biomagnetism sorts disease-causing agents into four classes:
| Class | Associated pole / environment (per the theory) |
|---|---|
| Virus | Acidic, positive pole |
| Bacteria | Alkaline, negative pole |
| Fungi | Alkaline or mixed environments |
| Parasites | Larger organisms said to host or feed on other pathogens |
A distinctive claim is pathogenic symbiosis (or dysbiosis): the idea that these agents form cooperative “pairs.” Cells are described as reservoirs where viruses lie dormant until activated; parasites are described as reservoirs for the bacteria they feed on. When two pathogens support one another across two resonant points, they are said to form a pathogenic biomagnetic pair, and chronic disease is attributed to several such pairs interacting. Correcting the pH environment is claimed to break these relationships.
2.4 Resonance, the bioenergetic dimension and emotional pairs
Beyond microbiology, the modality asserts a bioenergetic dimension. The two poles of a pair are said to be linked not by any anatomical connection but by resonance — a vibrational correspondence, so that a magnet at one pole affects its partner instantly. This layer extends to psycho-emotional pairs: in the method’s more advanced “Level 2” teaching, Goiz and his successors mapped pairs associated not with microbes but with emotional states, personality patterns and internal conflict. In this view, emotional disturbances are also read as energetic imbalances between paired points and are addressed with the same magnetic method. You will see these tagged Emotional in the Pairs Atlas.
2.5 Homeostasis — the goal of every session
The unifying aim is homeostasis: restoring the body’s internal equilibrium. In the theory a healthy body holds a balanced, largely neutral pH and a stable “Normal Energy Level,” and disease is a departure into paired zones of distortion. By placing opposite-polarity magnets on a distorted pair, the practitioner is said to “depolarise” the abnormal charges, let the acidic and alkaline zones drift back to neutral, deprive pathogens of their environment, and return the tissue to its normal state — after which the body’s own immune and regulatory systems resume normal function.
