5.1 A living catalogue
From the first thymus–rectum pair, the method grew into a large catalogue mapped across the body. This course’s reference is built from the classic Libro de Pares Biomagnéticos (5th edition), translated into English and plotted onto a body map. It contains 907 documented pairs, indexed against nearly 9,700 condition entries and hundreds of microorganisms.

Each pair is written as two points, e.g. Thymus – Rectum or Pineal – Pineal. For every pair the reference gives the English name (and the original Spanish), the anatomical location of each pole, the conditions it is traditionally associated with, the linked microorganism or category, and a schematic body-map diagram showing where the two magnets go.
5.2 Categories of pairs
Pairs are sorted into families. Four correspond to the pathogen classes from Module 2; the rest describe tissue, glandular, energetic and depot phenomena. You can filter by any of these in the Pairs Atlas.

5.3 Reading a body-map diagram
Every pair in the atlas is illustrated on a two-figure body map — an anterior (FRONT) and a posterior (BACK) silhouette. The two poles are drawn as numbered markers:
A dashed line links the two poles when they sit on the same view. Symmetric pairs (e.g. Kidney – Kidney) show a marker on each side of the body. The figure is a teaching schematic, not a precise anatomical atlas; the written location of each pole is always shown beside the diagram, and that written description is what you follow when placing magnets.
Orientation. The figures are drawn as if the person is facing you, so the patient’s right side appears on your left. One-sided organs (liver, spleen, appendix…) are drawn on their true anatomical side.
5.4 Scanning routes
To make sure nothing is missed, the classic teaching organises the points into repeatable scanning routes (Rutas I–VI) that sweep the body head-to-toe. Each route lists a sequence of points with their common pairs, the pathology traditionally associated, and a category code. The Scanning Routes reference reproduces this route structure so you can practise a consistent sweep. Module 6 puts the routes to work inside the full treatment protocol.
